How to make it on your own plane—and how to be a true drone pilot
You know you want to fly an airplane when your fingers feel like they’re flying a helicopter.
And yet you never really know what you’re actually going to get out of the process.
That’s the big difference between a drone and a helicopter, and it’s why so many hobbyists choose to fly their own planes instead of flying them from a helicopter: the real pilots are usually flying the drones, not the software.
That means they can focus on the details.
Like the way the cockpit lights and navigation systems work.
You don’t need to learn all of them, and there are so many to choose from.
For this post, I’ll be focusing on how to make your own drone—which is actually not a drone—even more fun by using a virtual-reality headset.

You could, for example, make a drone-like flying quadcopter out of an old toy plane, or you could just make a VR drone from an old drone you already own.
And the more VR you use, the more you’ll likely get out from the experience.
The first step is to get the headset you’re looking to buy.
The Oculus Rift costs about $1,500, but you can buy it for as little as $600.
The most popular VR headsets available for sale today include the HTC Vive, Samsung’s Gear VR, Sony’s PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, and Samsung’s own Project Morpheus.

The headset itself is fairly simple to assemble: there’s a tiny piece of cardboard on the back, a piece of foam that you can wrap around your face and strap over your head, and a pair of goggles.
Once you’ve assembled the headset, you just need to take it out of its case and lay it flat on a table.
You’ll need some sort of sturdy stand to hold it up.
Then, all you need to do is sit in front of it.
A small screen will show you what’s going on, so you can focus in on your surroundings and pick out the virtual objects you want in the virtual world.
This is the real-world version of a virtual cockpit.
But when you sit in the cockpit, you’re flying in VR.
The screen is actually your goggles, which will help you see your surroundings better.
To put it simply, you see what’s in front you in VR: the virtual horizon is exactly what you see it looking like in the real world.
The same goes for your cockpit, which is where you actually sit, which also lets you look out your left side at the world around you.
There are a few things to keep in mind when using a VR cockpit.
The virtual cockpit can be a bit rough and unstable.
You might feel like you’re getting pushed around or hit in the head.
There’s also the potential for a lot of motion sickness.
But if you’re comfortable with VR, this won’t be a problem.
There is a lot more to VR than just its visual capabilities, and that’s one of the reasons it’s so popular.

That’s a great question, and I’m going to answer it.
How to use VR to fly a drone In order for you to fly around the virtual cockpit, there are a couple of things you’ll want to keep a close eye on: Your hands.
Most VR goggles have built-in sensors that can detect how you’re holding them.
You can use the sensors to track how you move your hands as you move the headset around.
And if your hands are constantly moving, you might even experience some motion sickness if you take your hands off of the headset for too long.
You also want to be sure your hands aren’t getting stuck in the controllers, since they can cause the headset to move in your lap.
If there’s an object you want the cockpit to fly, like a drone or a helicopter that you’re using as a reference, you need a way to get that object out of your hands.
If your hands don’t move when you’re in the VR cockpit, the cockpit won’t work.
If the controller is too far away, you won’t feel the controls at all.
That could mean your hands won’t stay in place when you want them to.
