How to make a smart home for $200
What if you could turn your smart home into a virtual theater, a theater for the whole family, or an interactive art gallery?
That’s the premise of this smart home project from New York City-based company Modern Times, and it sounds incredibly cool.
The company says its “Livingroom Theatre” project will allow you to create a smart room with your entire family in the same room.
It uses advanced technology and software to create an entire theater from an iPad, projector, lighting, and speakers.
You’ll even have the ability to create your own lighting, so you can choose a different color or pattern.
And since it will be able to adjust the room based on its temperature, it will adjust automatically to keep the house warm and the theater comfortable.
If you want to use your own light, you’ll have the option to do so.
And it has WiFi to allow for remote control over the whole theater.
You can even have a camera in the living room that can capture the entire experience.
Modern Times CEO Brian D. McBride told the Wall Street Journal that the Livingroom Theatre project is an evolution of the company’s previous project, the Living Room Cinema, which was launched in 2016.
In the past, the company has been selling devices like this to companies that sell interactive art galleries or movie theaters, but this is the first smart home device that uses its own technology to create it.
And unlike its other smart home projects, it won’t have to be programmed to do all of this, because it’s an iPad-powered device.
This isn’t the first time that Modern Times has brought its technology to the living rooms of the masses.
The firm’s previous smart home initiative, the Smart House Project, has sold more than 500,000 units in less than two years.
The Living Room Theatre is expected to be available later this year for $199, though there’s no word on whether it’ll be available in other cities.
